The Game

 Mythball is a fantasy game that combines ball games with history.

The games are inspired from football and basketball.

The history  relates to the ancient times, or to the early known history, of each people and tribes.

For example in Mythball: the early history of the region of France is the times of Celtic and Gauls until the beginning of the Franks, as well the early history of USA, is the American native until the early years of colonization.

This idea came to me many years ago when I was in high school. As a worshipper of ancient history, especially of Greeks, Romans, Egyptians and Assyrians, but also a fan of football, mainly, but also of basketball.

Αnd I wondered how it would come together.

Ηow could there be clubs in the ancient world, like today's Real Madrid. Juventus and Liverpool?

And how could the ancient peoples solve the differences not with war but with ball games, for example Achilles and Agamemnon to compete with Hector and Paris not on battlefield of Troy but on a field in a stadium of Troy!

So I created championships and cups participating clubs like Pyramids, Caesareia, Acropolis, Aztecatl, Warriors Apache, Ishvara Magadha, Shogun, Semiram and much more.

The seats of the clubs are glorious cities of the past, and not only, like Rome, Thebes, Babylon, Athens,Tenochtitlan, Beijing, Machu-Picchu, Persepolis  and plenty of others.

Players of the clubs are legendary and historical people like Alexander, Octavian, Ramesses, Genghis Khan, Montezuma, Atahualpa, Hercules, Jeronimo and many others.;

I find this really fascinating and i hope the same to you.
