Real history info

In Greek mythology, King Laius (pronounced /ˈlaɪ.əs/), or Laios (Greek: Λάϊος) of Thebes was a key personage in the Theban founding myth. Laius was the son of Labdacus. He was the father, by Jocasta, of Oedipus, who killed him.
